Why did you go away?
I sang your praises on my blog this week.
I told everyone I thought you were sweet!
You visited one night, and ended up staying.
"Please come back!" you left me a-praying.
But you did not come back -
not that night nor since,
If you don't come soon -
they'll have to call an ambulance!
Please, Sleep, I beg of you -
come back and stay a night or two!
